The failing economy in Spain has increased homelessness by over 5% in the last 5 years. This combined with the rising temperature in Seville means that there is a demand for gardeners to maintain the city's proud horticultural heritage. My project aims to address these issues.
The ministers of the Seville Cathedral that currently live on the site are already dedicated to helping the homeless. They will take on an increased role in aiding in their rehabilitation and education. They will be taught to nurture and cultivate flowers which are then sold at the market on a Sunday.
